How To Uninstall ruby-asetus On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-asetus just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-asetus

configuration library with YAML/JSON/TOML backendsDebian 9.0ruby0.3.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-asetus

This will remove just the ruby-asetus package itself.

Uninstall ruby-asetus and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-asetus

This will remove the ruby-asetus package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-asetus then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-asetus

Or similarly, like this ruby-asetus

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-asetus
