How To Uninstall ruby-avl-tree On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-avl-tree just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-avl-tree

AVL and red-black trees in RubyDebian 9.0ruby1.1.3-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-avl-tree

This will remove just the ruby-avl-tree package itself.

Uninstall ruby-avl-tree and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-avl-tree

This will remove the ruby-avl-tree package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-avl-tree then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-avl-tree

Or similarly, like this ruby-avl-tree

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-avl-tree
