How To Uninstall ruby-aws On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-aws just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-aws

AWS Ruby Library for interfacing with Amazon Web ServicesDebian 9.0ruby2.10.2-4
sudo apt-get remove ruby-aws

This will remove just the ruby-aws package itself.

Uninstall ruby-aws and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-aws

This will remove the ruby-aws package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-aws then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-aws

Or similarly, like this ruby-aws

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-aws
