How To Uninstall ruby-babel-transpiler On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-babel-transpiler just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-babel-transpiler

Ruby Babel JS CompilerDebian 9.0ruby0.7.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-babel-transpiler

This will remove just the ruby-babel-transpiler package itself.

Uninstall ruby-babel-transpiler and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-babel-transpiler

This will remove the ruby-babel-transpiler package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-babel-transpiler then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-babel-transpiler

Or similarly, like this ruby-babel-transpiler

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-babel-transpiler
