How To Uninstall ruby-base32 On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-base32 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-base32

Ruby extension for base32 encoding and decodingDebian 9.0ruby0.3.2-3
sudo apt-get remove ruby-base32

This will remove just the ruby-base32 package itself.

Uninstall ruby-base32 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-base32

This will remove the ruby-base32 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-base32 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-base32

Or similarly, like this ruby-base32

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-base32
