How To Uninstall ruby-beaneater On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-beaneater just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-beaneater

simple beanstalkd client for RubyDebian 9.0ruby1.0.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-beaneater

This will remove just the ruby-beaneater package itself.

Uninstall ruby-beaneater and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-beaneater

This will remove the ruby-beaneater package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-beaneater then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-beaneater

Or similarly, like this ruby-beaneater

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-beaneater
