How To Uninstall ruby-beautify On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-beautify just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-beautify

CLI binary and module that will pretty up Ruby codeDebian 9.0ruby0.97.4-3
sudo apt-get remove ruby-beautify

This will remove just the ruby-beautify package itself.

Uninstall ruby-beautify and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-beautify

This will remove the ruby-beautify package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-beautify then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-beautify

Or similarly, like this ruby-beautify

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-beautify
