How To Uninstall ruby-bourne On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-bourne just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-bourne

adds test spies to mochaDebian 9.0ruby1.6.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-bourne

This will remove just the ruby-bourne package itself.

Uninstall ruby-bourne and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-bourne

This will remove the ruby-bourne package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-bourne then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-bourne

Or similarly, like this ruby-bourne

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-bourne
