How To Uninstall ruby-brass On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-brass just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-brass

bare-metal Ruby assertion system standardDebian 9.0ruby1.2.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-brass

This will remove just the ruby-brass package itself.

Uninstall ruby-brass and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-brass

This will remove the ruby-brass package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-brass then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-brass

Or similarly, like this ruby-brass

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-brass
