How To Uninstall ruby-browser On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-browser just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-browser

browser detection for RubyDebian 9.0ruby2.2.0-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-browser

This will remove just the ruby-browser package itself.

Uninstall ruby-browser and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-browser

This will remove the ruby-browser package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-browser then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-browser

Or similarly, like this ruby-browser

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-browser
