How To Uninstall ruby-buftok On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-buftok just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-buftok

extracts token delimited entities from a sequence of arbitrary inputsDebian 9.0ruby0.2.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-buftok

This will remove just the ruby-buftok package itself.

Uninstall ruby-buftok and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-buftok

This will remove the ruby-buftok package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-buftok then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-buftok

Or similarly, like this ruby-buftok

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-buftok
