How To Uninstall ruby-build On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-build just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-build

tool to compile and install different versions of RubyDebian 9.0ruby20161225-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-build

This will remove just the ruby-build package itself.

Uninstall ruby-build and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-build

This will remove the ruby-build package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-build then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-build

Or similarly, like this ruby-build

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-build
