How To Uninstall ruby-cairo-gobject On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-cairo-gobject just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-cairo-gobject

CairoGObject bindings for the Ruby languageDebian 9.0ruby3.1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-cairo-gobject

This will remove just the ruby-cairo-gobject package itself.

Uninstall ruby-cairo-gobject and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-cairo-gobject

This will remove the ruby-cairo-gobject package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-cairo-gobject then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-cairo-gobject

Or similarly, like this ruby-cairo-gobject

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-cairo-gobject
