How To Uninstall ruby-capybara On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-capybara just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-capybara

integration testing tool for Rack based web applicationsDebian 9.0ruby2.10.2-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-capybara

This will remove just the ruby-capybara package itself.

Uninstall ruby-capybara and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-capybara

This will remove the ruby-capybara package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-capybara then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-capybara

Or similarly, like this ruby-capybara

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-capybara
