How To Uninstall ruby-cassiopee On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-cassiopee just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-cassiopee

Library to index strings and to search with exact or approximate matchDebian 9.0ruby0.1.13-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-cassiopee

This will remove just the ruby-cassiopee package itself.

Uninstall ruby-cassiopee and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-cassiopee

This will remove the ruby-cassiopee package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-cassiopee then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-cassiopee

Or similarly, like this ruby-cassiopee

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-cassiopee
