How To Uninstall ruby-celluloid-io On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-celluloid-io just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-celluloid-io

Ruby library providing an event-driven IO system for Celluloid actorsDebian 9.0ruby0.16.2-5
sudo apt-get remove ruby-celluloid-io

This will remove just the ruby-celluloid-io package itself.

Uninstall ruby-celluloid-io and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-celluloid-io

This will remove the ruby-celluloid-io package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-celluloid-io then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-celluloid-io

Or similarly, like this ruby-celluloid-io

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-celluloid-io
