How To Uninstall ruby-classifier On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-classifier just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-classifier

Ruby module to allow Bayesian and other types of classificationsDebian 9.0ruby1.3.4-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-classifier

This will remove just the ruby-classifier package itself.

Uninstall ruby-classifier and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-classifier

This will remove the ruby-classifier package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-classifier then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-classifier

Or similarly, like this ruby-classifier

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-classifier
