How To Uninstall ruby-cmdparse On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-cmdparse just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-cmdparse

Advanced command line parsing Ruby module supporting sub-commandsDebian 9.0ruby2.0.6-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-cmdparse

This will remove just the ruby-cmdparse package itself.

Uninstall ruby-cmdparse and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-cmdparse

This will remove the ruby-cmdparse package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-cmdparse then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-cmdparse

Or similarly, like this ruby-cmdparse

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-cmdparse
