How To Uninstall ruby-color-tools On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-color-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-color-tools

Ruby library providing various colorspace support (transitional package)Debian 9.0ruby1.8-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-color-tools

This will remove just the ruby-color-tools package itself.

Uninstall ruby-color-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-color-tools

This will remove the ruby-color-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-color-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-color-tools

Or similarly, like this ruby-color-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-color-tools
