How To Uninstall ruby-colored On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-colored just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-colored

library to add colors or attributes to textDebian 9.0ruby1.2-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-colored

This will remove just the ruby-colored package itself.

Uninstall ruby-colored and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-colored

This will remove the ruby-colored package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-colored then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-colored

Or similarly, like this ruby-colored

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-colored
