How To Uninstall ruby-commander On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-commander just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-commander

Ruby command-line interface libraryDebian 9.0ruby4.4.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-commander

This will remove just the ruby-commander package itself.

Uninstall ruby-commander and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-commander

This will remove the ruby-commander package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-commander then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-commander

Or similarly, like this ruby-commander

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-commander
