How To Uninstall ruby-connection-pool On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-connection-pool just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-connection-pool

generic connection pool for rubyDebian 9.0ruby2.2.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-connection-pool

This will remove just the ruby-connection-pool package itself.

Uninstall ruby-connection-pool and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-connection-pool

This will remove the ruby-connection-pool package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-connection-pool then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-connection-pool

Or similarly, like this ruby-connection-pool

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-connection-pool
