How To Uninstall ruby-contracts On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-contracts just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-contracts

Contracts (a assert like) for RubyDebian 9.0ruby0.14.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-contracts

This will remove just the ruby-contracts package itself.

Uninstall ruby-contracts and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-contracts

This will remove the ruby-contracts package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-contracts then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-contracts

Or similarly, like this ruby-contracts

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-contracts
