How To Uninstall ruby-cookiejar On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-cookiejar just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-cookiejar

client-side HTTP cookie libraryDebian 9.0ruby0.3.3-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-cookiejar

This will remove just the ruby-cookiejar package itself.

Uninstall ruby-cookiejar and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-cookiejar

This will remove the ruby-cookiejar package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-cookiejar then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-cookiejar

Or similarly, like this ruby-cookiejar

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-cookiejar
