How To Uninstall ruby-coveralls On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-coveralls just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-coveralls

Ruby implementation of the Coveralls APIDebian 9.0ruby0.7.0-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-coveralls

This will remove just the ruby-coveralls package itself.

Uninstall ruby-coveralls and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-coveralls

This will remove the ruby-coveralls package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-coveralls then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-coveralls

Or similarly, like this ruby-coveralls

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-coveralls
