How To Uninstall ruby-cucumber-core On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-cucumber-core just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-cucumber-core

core library for the Cucumber applicationDebian 9.0ruby1.5.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-cucumber-core

This will remove just the ruby-cucumber-core package itself.

Uninstall ruby-cucumber-core and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-cucumber-core

This will remove the ruby-cucumber-core package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-cucumber-core then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-cucumber-core

Or similarly, like this ruby-cucumber-core

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-cucumber-core
