How To Uninstall ruby-curb On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-curb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-curb

Ruby libcurl bindingsDebian 9.0ruby0.9.3-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-curb

This will remove just the ruby-curb package itself.

Uninstall ruby-curb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-curb

This will remove the ruby-curb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-curb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-curb

Or similarly, like this ruby-curb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-curb
