How To Uninstall ruby-dataobjects-mysql On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-dataobjects-mysql just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-dataobjects-mysql

MySQL adapter for ruby-dataobjectsDebian 9.0ruby0.10.16-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-dataobjects-mysql

This will remove just the ruby-dataobjects-mysql package itself.

Uninstall ruby-dataobjects-mysql and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-dataobjects-mysql

This will remove the ruby-dataobjects-mysql package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-dataobjects-mysql then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-dataobjects-mysql

Or similarly, like this ruby-dataobjects-mysql

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-dataobjects-mysql
