How To Uninstall ruby-dbf On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-dbf just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-dbf

small fast Ruby library for reading database filesDebian 9.0ruby3.0.5-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-dbf

This will remove just the ruby-dbf package itself.

Uninstall ruby-dbf and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-dbf

This will remove the ruby-dbf package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-dbf then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-dbf

Or similarly, like this ruby-dbf

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-dbf
