How To Uninstall ruby-debug-inspector On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-debug-inspector just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-debug-inspector

Ruby wrapper for the MRI 2.0 debug_inspector APIDebian 9.0ruby0.0.2-1.1+b3
sudo apt-get remove ruby-debug-inspector

This will remove just the ruby-debug-inspector package itself.

Uninstall ruby-debug-inspector and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-debug-inspector

This will remove the ruby-debug-inspector package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-debug-inspector then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-debug-inspector

Or similarly, like this ruby-debug-inspector

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-debug-inspector
