How To Uninstall ruby-deep-merge On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-deep-merge just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-deep-merge

recursively merge Hash elements in RubyDebian 9.0ruby1.1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-deep-merge

This will remove just the ruby-deep-merge package itself.

Uninstall ruby-deep-merge and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-deep-merge

This will remove the ruby-deep-merge package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-deep-merge then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-deep-merge

Or similarly, like this ruby-deep-merge

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-deep-merge
