How To Uninstall ruby-devise-two-factor On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-devise-two-factor just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-devise-two-factor

Barebones two-factor authentication with DeviseDebian 9.0ruby3.0.0-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-devise-two-factor

This will remove just the ruby-devise-two-factor package itself.

Uninstall ruby-devise-two-factor and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-devise-two-factor

This will remove the ruby-devise-two-factor package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-devise-two-factor then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-devise-two-factor

Or similarly, like this ruby-devise-two-factor

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-devise-two-factor
