How To Uninstall ruby-docile On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-docile just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-docile

Docile keeps your Ruby DSLs tame and well-behavedDebian 9.0ruby1.1.5-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-docile

This will remove just the ruby-docile package itself.

Uninstall ruby-docile and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-docile

This will remove the ruby-docile package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-docile then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-docile

Or similarly, like this ruby-docile

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-docile
