How To Uninstall ruby-docker-api On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-docker-api just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-docker-api

Ruby gem to interact with docker.io remote APIDebian 9.0ruby1.22.2-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-docker-api

This will remove just the ruby-docker-api package itself.

Uninstall ruby-docker-api and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-docker-api

This will remove the ruby-docker-api package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-docker-api then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-docker-api

Or similarly, like this ruby-docker-api

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-docker-api
