How To Uninstall ruby-eb On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-eb just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-eb

EB library interface for the RubyDebian 9.0ruby2.6-3+b6
sudo apt-get remove ruby-eb

This will remove just the ruby-eb package itself.

Uninstall ruby-eb and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-eb

This will remove the ruby-eb package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-eb then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-eb

Or similarly, like this ruby-eb

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-eb
