How To Uninstall ruby-ejs On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-ejs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-ejs

EJS (Embedded JavaScript) template compilerDebian 9.0ruby1.1.1-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-ejs

This will remove just the ruby-ejs package itself.

Uninstall ruby-ejs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-ejs

This will remove the ruby-ejs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-ejs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-ejs

Or similarly, like this ruby-ejs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-ejs
