How To Uninstall ruby-em-spec On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-em-spec just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-em-spec

BDD for Ruby/EventMachineDebian 9.0ruby0.2.7-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-em-spec

This will remove just the ruby-em-spec package itself.

Uninstall ruby-em-spec and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-em-spec

This will remove the ruby-em-spec package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-em-spec then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-em-spec

Or similarly, like this ruby-em-spec

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-em-spec
