How To Uninstall ruby-entypo-rails On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-entypo-rails just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-entypo-rails

rails asset pipeline plugin providing Entypo iconsDebian 9.0ruby3.0.0~pre~rc2-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-entypo-rails

This will remove just the ruby-entypo-rails package itself.

Uninstall ruby-entypo-rails and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-entypo-rails

This will remove the ruby-entypo-rails package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-entypo-rails then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-entypo-rails

Or similarly, like this ruby-entypo-rails

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-entypo-rails
