How To Uninstall ruby-ethon On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-ethon just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-ethon

libcurl wrapper using ffiDebian 9.0ruby0.9.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-ethon

This will remove just the ruby-ethon package itself.

Uninstall ruby-ethon and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-ethon

This will remove the ruby-ethon package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-ethon then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-ethon

Or similarly, like this ruby-ethon

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-ethon
