How To Uninstall ruby-faraday-middleware On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-faraday-middleware just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-faraday-middleware

various middleware for Faraday HTTP/REST libraryDebian 9.0ruby0.10.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-faraday-middleware

This will remove just the ruby-faraday-middleware package itself.

Uninstall ruby-faraday-middleware and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-faraday-middleware

This will remove the ruby-faraday-middleware package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-faraday-middleware then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-faraday-middleware

Or similarly, like this ruby-faraday-middleware

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-faraday-middleware
