How To Uninstall ruby-fastimage On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-fastimage just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-fastimage

Ruby library for finding the size or type of image with minimal dependencyDebian 9.0ruby1.8.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-fastimage

This will remove just the ruby-fastimage package itself.

Uninstall ruby-fastimage and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-fastimage

This will remove the ruby-fastimage package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-fastimage then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-fastimage

Or similarly, like this ruby-fastimage

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-fastimage
