How To Uninstall ruby-feedparser On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-feedparser just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-feedparser

Ruby library to parse ATOM/RSS feedsDebian 9.0ruby0.9.4-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-feedparser

This will remove just the ruby-feedparser package itself.

Uninstall ruby-feedparser and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-feedparser

This will remove the ruby-feedparser package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-feedparser then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-feedparser

Or similarly, like this ruby-feedparser

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-feedparser
