How To Uninstall ruby-ffaker On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-ffaker just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-ffaker

ffaker generates dummy dataDebian 9.0ruby2.2.0-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-ffaker

This will remove just the ruby-ffaker package itself.

Uninstall ruby-ffaker and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-ffaker

This will remove the ruby-ffaker package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-ffaker then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-ffaker

Or similarly, like this ruby-ffaker

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-ffaker
