How To Uninstall ruby-ffi-bit-masks On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-ffi-bit-masks just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-ffi-bit-masks

Adds support for bit-masked types in FFIDebian 9.0ruby0.1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-ffi-bit-masks

This will remove just the ruby-ffi-bit-masks package itself.

Uninstall ruby-ffi-bit-masks and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-ffi-bit-masks

This will remove the ruby-ffi-bit-masks package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-ffi-bit-masks then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-ffi-bit-masks

Or similarly, like this ruby-ffi-bit-masks

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-ffi-bit-masks
