How To Uninstall ruby-ffi On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-ffi just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-ffi

load dynamic libraries, bind functions from within ruby codeDebian 9.0ruby1.9.10debian-1+b2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-ffi

This will remove just the ruby-ffi package itself.

Uninstall ruby-ffi and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-ffi

This will remove the ruby-ffi package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-ffi then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-ffi

Or similarly, like this ruby-ffi

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-ffi
