How To Uninstall ruby-fixwhich On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-fixwhich just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-fixwhich

ruby module that emulates the 'which' programDebian 9.0ruby1.0.2-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-fixwhich

This will remove just the ruby-fixwhich package itself.

Uninstall ruby-fixwhich and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-fixwhich

This will remove the ruby-fixwhich package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-fixwhich then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-fixwhich

Or similarly, like this ruby-fixwhich

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-fixwhich
