How To Uninstall ruby-fog-brightbox On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-fog-brightbox just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-fog-brightbox

library to use the Brightbox Cloud in applicationsDebian 9.0ruby0.7.1-2
sudo apt-get remove ruby-fog-brightbox

This will remove just the ruby-fog-brightbox package itself.

Uninstall ruby-fog-brightbox and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-fog-brightbox

This will remove the ruby-fog-brightbox package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-fog-brightbox then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-fog-brightbox

Or similarly, like this ruby-fog-brightbox

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-fog-brightbox
