How To Uninstall ruby-fuzzyurl On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-fuzzyurl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-fuzzyurl

non-strict parsing, construction, and wildcard-matching of URLsDebian 9.0ruby0.8.0-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-fuzzyurl

This will remove just the ruby-fuzzyurl package itself.

Uninstall ruby-fuzzyurl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-fuzzyurl

This will remove the ruby-fuzzyurl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-fuzzyurl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-fuzzyurl

Or similarly, like this ruby-fuzzyurl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-fuzzyurl
