How To Uninstall ruby-gemnasium-gitlab-service On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-gemnasium-gitlab-service just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-gemnasium-gitlab-service

Gemnasium service for GitlabDebian 9.0ruby0.2.6-1
sudo apt-get remove ruby-gemnasium-gitlab-service

This will remove just the ruby-gemnasium-gitlab-service package itself.

Uninstall ruby-gemnasium-gitlab-service and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-gemnasium-gitlab-service

This will remove the ruby-gemnasium-gitlab-service package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-gemnasium-gitlab-service then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-gemnasium-gitlab-service
