How To Uninstall ruby-geos On Debian 9

To uninstall ruby-geos just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ruby-geos

GEOS bindings for RubyDebian 9.0ruby3.5.1-3
sudo apt-get remove ruby-geos

This will remove just the ruby-geos package itself.

Uninstall ruby-geos and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ruby-geos

This will remove the ruby-geos package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ruby-geos then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ruby-geos

Or similarly, like this ruby-geos

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ruby-geos
